Fun with Friends

I kept Aspyn and Breely Cain this afternoon for a little while, and we all seemed to have a good time.  Jaycee got to play with her friends.  After naps we all went outside since it was gorgeous!
All three in the wagon

10 months!

Cannot believe that this little booger is 10 months old!

 At 10 months old, Jaycee...
-Has many faces and such a neat personality
-Eats like a horse
-Has 3 different crawls 1.Army (preferred) 2. Real baby crawl 3. Bear crawl
-Favorite food:  Potatoes cooked any way
-Loves to crawl over things that are about 6 in off the ground
-Pulls up on everything
-Loves to be outside!
-Likes to blow bubbles, make indian noise, smack
-Says Ma-ma, Da-da, Bye-bye, Na-na, OK, Dev, No mam, Yeah
-Still waves backwards
-Laughs when you brush her teeth
-Has 4 teeth total now
-Became ticklish within the past week
-Plays with each toy about 30 seconds everyday and thats about it, she would much rather explore
-Finds the way doors open and close so interesting.  She can play with a door forever
-Opens cabinets but rarely gets things out of them
-Loves to turn pages in books
-Starting to push her walker toy
-Still LOVES paper!
-Sits like a cheerleader (one leg tucked behind her and the other straight out)
-Starting to be unsure of people she doesn't know like embarrassingly scared of people that come up to her and get in her face or too close.  She also seems to prefer women over men lately. She used to love everyone and now all of a sudden she is scared and freaks out...

This past week I tried out a pattern I had found on pinterest for a Travel Tie Chair.  Its supposed to work for kids up to like 5 years old.  I'm thinking of making these for several of our friends who are having babies.  It seemed to work.
Side view and a funny face Jaycee is making
 Blowing bubbles
Not sure why these pictures ended up like this but oh well.

Warning: Summer Picture Overload

I'm warning you now, if you do not want to see pictures of my sweet child playing outside on this beautiful day, just exit the page now.  I have two things I love.  1. Jaycee 2. Taking pictures.  I love Justin too, but this has nothing to do with him, he won't take pictures.  Anyways back to what I was saying.  This blog post combines the two.  I kind of took way too many pictures of Jaycee today when we went outside to play.  It is about 80 degrees outside today with no wind (5-10 mph).  It is just beautiful, we had to go outside to play.  By the way I have got my new lens all figured out and I am loving it!

Jaycee riding around in her wagon
Playing in the shade

Eating a little bit of grass

So incredibly happy to be outside

I know her eyes are closed but I just love it.
 My favorite
Of course we had to play with Griengo some

Then we put up her swing and SHE. LOVED. IT.

I'm going to try to post a video on my facebook of her swinging.  She would just squeal and laugh.  It was so cute.

All better finally...

At the end of my last post I mentioned that Jaycee in the dishwasher reminded me of her big brother, Griengo, as a puppy in the dishwasher.  Well I finally found that picture.
Anyways the past week, Jaycee and I have been kind of sick so we've stayed in most the week.  Justin is finally over being sick and I'm pretty much over it now too.
Although we were sick, me and Jaycee ad to go outside last Sunday because it was like 75 degrees and no wind!  Little Joe loves Jaycee, but as you can see he is kind of rough...with his big ole tongue.  He knocked her over just by licking her.
When we were in Dallas a few weeks ago, I bought a new lens for my camera.  I am super excited about getting to use it.  These pictures are with that lens.
Jaycee playing with Whiskey.
For almost the past month Jaycee has begun to eat big girl food.  She eats almost everything we do.  She even eats meats.  She eats mac 'n cheese, potatoes, sausage (loves polish sausage), ground beef, stew, pancakes, eggs, grapes, pickles, white enchiladas, tuna, green beans, basically everything.  I cannot believe how good she eats.  Of course Griengo gets half of everything she eats because she drops that much in her chair or on the floor, but thats fine with me.  I just hope Jaycee keeps up this great appetite!
Jaycee's favorite thing is still Griengo.  She just crawls all over him.  It is so cute!

New toy: Washer and Dryer.  She loves to just sit and watch them.  With her jaw dropped and everything just like this picture.  I think she gets the jaw dropped from me.  Justin pointed out to me the other day that I drive or set with my mouth open a lot.

Jaycee has been doing a lot of this the past week.  She pulls up on everything.
New obsession: Mommy!  She began saying Mama on Tuesday.  She doesn't say it just real often except when she is hanging on my leg and whining "Ma-ma, ma---ma,".  It would be really cute if she was not wanting me to hold her ALL the time.  At night when I'm sitting in my chair, she constantly pulls up on my chair and starts giving me a cheesy grin and of course it is so cute I have to hold her for a minute, but really why can't she be obsessed with "Da-da" again??  Don't get me wrong I love Jaycee more than anything in the world and it really isn't all that bad, but she is getting way too clingy to me...
Today it has been sprinkling all day, and it is pretty cold so we started a fire this morning.  Jaycee checking out the fire.  Not sure what I think about this, but oh well I'm sure she'll be fine.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Busy Body

There is no doubt that Jaycee is an animal lover.  Puppies have always been her favorite thing.  They just amaze her and she loves to play with them.  She constantly is following Griengo around the house and trying to climb all over him, play with his collar, pull his hair out, or play with his toys.  I hate having an inside dog with all the hair and the hassle, but he pulls his weight thats for sure.  He does our dishes, cleans up after Jaycee, and a great babysitter.  Now just because Griengo is an inside dog does not mean that Jaycee has forgot about the other dogs.  She plays with Lil Joe and Whiskey through the glass. It is so cute!
Jaycee's next favorite animal, cows.  Every other day we go feed the cows.  Every time I get her out of her carseat and let her sit in my lap and watch the cows.  She loves them!  And when it is nice outside we even get out and pet the oldest cow, Black Beauty.  It is kind of odd because with Griengo, Jaycee is rough and hits and pulls his hair, but with the cow she actually just pets her.  It's sweet.  On Wednesday she even got to see the first calf of the year.  It had just been born when we got there.  Of course I didn't take any pictures of that sorry because after all Jaycee is the star of this show.  This is what Jaycee looks like as we're pouring out the cake for the cattle.
I have got to get someone to go with me so I can take some real pictures.
 Crazy driver.

A couple posts ago I said I know it won't be long before I go in Jaycee's room and she is standing in her crib.  Well it wasn't!  On Monday she began standing in her crib.  It is so stinkin' cute!
Sad/Mad I'm taking pictures instead of getting her out.

New obsession: Dishwasher.  Jaycee used to just pull up on the dishwasher and stand and it was all cute.  Not now.  She crawls completely in the dishwasher.  Still cute, but not fun for mommy.  She gets in there and pulls the whole rack out and various pieces of silverware before you can blink an eye.

I know I have a picture of Griengo in the dishwasher as a puppy.  I wish I could find it and put on here.  Not that I'm comparing my child to a dog but it is rather funny, and this reminds me of that.
