Happy 11 Months!

I cannot believe that in one month Jaycee will be celebrating her 1 year old birthday!  Agh! Only one month away!  I do not want my sweet baby to be one yet.  I know she has to grow up, but I don't want her to grow up so fast!  Oh well I'm excited and nervous for the next years to come.  I know it won't be long and she'll be talking and walking.  For now I'm just going to jot down what's going on in Jaycee's life now.
Found her a cute little lawn chair at Walmart the other day.
She loves it!  Now to just figure out how to not let the wind blow it away!
Our pathetic attempt to take some 11 month pictures.  I wanted so bad to take pictures in our wheat/triticale and Jaycee was kind of terrified.  I think it was just too big and overwhelming, bad thing for pictures, but good thing for us :)

The past week Jaycee has been developing skills that resemble that of Griengo's way too much.  She has been carrying toys, or random things in her mouth as she crawls around the room.  She even does this in her bathtub.
 Silly Girl.
It is funny that we have a dog that thinks he's a human and now our child thinks she is a puppy. Oh my.
Random picture I have been meaning to post.  She thinks she is obsessed with her pacifier.  We are trying to wean her off it so she won't be a 3 year old with a paci.  I'm planning on taking it away at a year.  The only part I do not like is that since she was teething with her top teeth she started sucking her fingers again so I would rather her suck on the paci instead of her fingers.  Currently she does not get it during the day unless she is in her carseat.  So she knows that it is usually clipped to her seatbelt so she crawls over there and sucks on it for a while even though she can't move with it.  It is quite funny.

This is what Jaycee is doing at 11 months:
-Talking nonstop (Just rarely says words we understand)
-Pulling up on everything and can stand with no hands at those objects, but I'm not sure that she has realized that she can
-Has graduated to the whole bathtub.  No more little whale tub :(
-Has 6 teeth. 2 on bottom & 4 on top
-Loves to pull the files out of the file box
-Pulls every drawer open and gets things out
-Loves outside!
-Sleeps approx. 12-13 hours at night & takes normally two 2 hours naps
-Loves the baby calves
-Loves to hang her head out the window on the pickup
-Words she has said recently: N-go (Griengo), Santa, Ice Cream, Thank you, I Done, More, Uncle, Not really
-Can only go backwards in her walker

Happy Easter!

For Easter we got Jaycee all dressed up and went to church that morning and then we went over to Justin's grandparents in Bovina for lunch.
 Finally got a family pic
Jaycee playing in the flower pot
Then we came home that night to just hang out.  Jaycee got to hunt eggs in our backyard.
"Really Mom I have to wear these bunny ears?"
 Finding eggs
A little excited to be outside
Shaking her eggs like Papaw had showed her earlier

Plastic doesn't taste near as good as it looks
The dogs hunting Easter eggs too
Jaycee deciding to bear crawl the whole night
 Playing with Griengo or "N-go"
 Little Joe is growing!
She has mastered climbing up on the concrete
And also going down the step...
Jaycee and Auntie Dev
Jaycee found all of Daddy's shotgun shells from him killing all the birdies in our backyard.  It does not phase Jaycee a bit.  She thinks its funny when she gets to see a bird fall from the sky.  So I'm sure it won't be too long and she'll  be right there with him sitting on the porch shooting birds...

A little bit Easter

Jaycee's Easter outfit came in the mail on Saturday and I was sooo excited!  I ordered her this super cute lacy, ruffled romper off Esty.  So when it came in, I had to make her an Eastery bow to match.  Then of course we had to do a photo shoot to get some Easter pictures.
I'm pretty sure this is everyone's favorite.
 My personal favorite (I think)

Counting the eggs in her basket
On Wednesday afternoon Jaycee got to go visit the Easter Bunny at the mall.  I was beyond nervous that she would freak out like she did with Santa.
A little worried before going to see the bunny...
Then a great baby when we saw the Easter Bunny.  He never said a word to us so maybe she just thought he was a huge bunny.  I am so thankful she didn't freak out!
That afternoon Justin took her outside to play while I got supper ready.  They just looked to cute there talking to each other!
Random pictures playing outside yesterday.  She has become fascinated with Lil Joe and wants to follow him around.

Hope everyone has a Happy Easter!
