All ready and waiting

I promised last blog post that I would blog next about Payzlee.  Well we are still awaiting her arrival.  We are going to be induced Monday, March 4, 2013 if she does not come before then.  Two weeks ago we had a sonogram and they measured her at weighing 6 lbs, 1 oz that week, and estimated her to weigh 7 - 7 1/2 lbs on March 8 which is her due date.  So we shall see what she does end up being born at.  We finally decided on a spelling of her name, Payzlee.  Payzlee keeps dropping and I feel like everyday she is just going to fall out the bottom.  I first dropped about 5 weeks ago and then almost 2 weeks ago I dropped again.  So apparently the "dropping" means nothing about going into labor soon, but it is nice to know that she is in place and ready to make her appearance.  Here are all the pictures of her nursery.  We are just patiently awaiting her arrival!
Jaycee loves Payzlee's book racks and really needs bigger and more of them in her room!

Payzlee's quilt - Yes my children are spoiled.  I said she was not getting bedding made and then I went ahead and couldn't stand not to make her bedding.

Finally got Jaycee's changing table in the room
Again she's spoiled.  All the new hairbows I made for her and a couple paci clips.  I really want her to suck a pacifier at least so she doesn't suck her fingers like Jaycee!
Payzlee's going home outfit that I ordered off Etsy
And here is the only prego picture I've taken - 36 weeks
You didn't think I could forget about Jaycee now did you.  When Justin was gone hunting in January, I did Payzlee's nursery and then I had to redo Jaycee's room since I had bought paint last January but never painted.

And of course I have to post at least one picture of Jaycee.  She is all ready for little sister (I hope) and St Patty's Day!

Winter Fun

So you are about to experience picture overload of our child, Jaycee.  I have been the worst blogger about keeping up, but I want to include a lot that has happened.  Since the beginning of the year, we have been busy with friends, playing outside, and getting ready for baby sister.  I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.
Fun with Friends
Jaycee & Lane
We went to Aspyn & Breely's birthday party last weekend
Jaycee loved the bouncy house at the Bovina Rec Center
Fun in the ball pit with Aspyn

Jaycee is a really loving child
Jaycee and Clayton getting to hang out

The weather has been so nice this winter, and Jaycee just LOVES to be outside!
And when we go outside we get to pet Black Beauty!
We attempt to lead her around
And go get her hay from inside the feeder
Then feed her
And poke her eye
Then we play with the dogs
 Jump on the trampoline
Swing...and then start all over again

Jaycee has learned lots of new things this month.  She is very good at all her animal noises and can do a cow, puppy, sheep, horse, snake, tiger, monkey, cat, owl, and chicken.  There may be more, but I can't remember.  She also know where her eye, ear, nose, mouth, cheek, chin, forehead, hair, head, hand, arm, elbow, belly button, ribs, leg, knee, foot, and toes are.  She's very good at that as well.  She's also learning her colors and can get you whatever color ball in her ball pit that you ask.
...and she now has a "mean face"

and got her first black eye the other day.

She loves to help Mommy

Loves anything to do with Daddy
and LOVES to read!  She is a little book worm.
She is also quite the little cheeser!
I will try to post soon on baby sister since I really haven't done any type of post on that.

Christmas 2012

Again I'm sorry for the two posts in one night.  Our Christmas was all packed into 2 days this year.  It started on Christmas Eve at Granny & Papa's in Bovina.
Jaycee "tickling" everyone
Jaycee and Nonni
Jaycee hadn't quite got the concept of gifts down yet.  She was much more interested in playing in the empty boxes.
Jaycee and Moo all ready for bed and for Santa to come
But Jaycee did have the concept of "giving gifts" down.  I have to tell this story, it is so cute.  A couple days before Christmas I was in the kitchen cooking and all of a sudden Jaycee comes into the kitchen with a pink gift bag and something in it.  So I was wandering where she got it and what she had in it.  Apparently she had got into the gift wrapping cabinet and got it out and then went in the bathroom and got bars of soap out and put in it.  So I asked her jokingly "Oh Jaycee is that for Daddy?" and then I went back to cooking.  Well later I went into the living room and Jaycee had put that gift with the others under the tree.  The next morning I was putting stuff under the tree and the gift looked like it had tissue paper in it.  So I was thinking "Wow she even put nice tissue paper in there, but where did she find that?".  Well I reached into the bag and it wasn't the tissue paper I was thinking it was.  She had emptied a bunch of wipees in there to look like tissue paper.  So stinkin cute!  So on Christmas morning Daddy got to open up Jaycee's gift of the wipees and soap!

After we did gifts at home Christmas morning we then had Christmas at Grumps & Nonni's.
Helping Jaycee open her gift.
Jaycee more excited to beat on the box!
We then had Christmas that afternoon at Grandma Kay's, but I forgot to take any pictures.  We then hurried home and had Christmas with Pappy at our house that night.

Jaycee finally figured out the whole present thing by the last Christmas we had
We had such a great Christmas season this year and we can't wait until next year to share it with two little girls!

So Behind

I am so incredibly far behind on blogging and I am sorry.  I'm going to break up December into two posts sorry.  The middle of December we finally got to go to Tennessee and visit my Uncle Bruce and Aunt Roxanne.  We had such a great time and really enjoyed getting to see their new home and see some rain!
We had to go to Bass Pro Shop while we were there and Jaycee just loved the talking Reindeer!
 Jaycee also loved the "fishies"

Jaycee with the Bear
So glad they let us come visit and stay for a week!
 Finally a family picture
Jaycee also had fun getting to play with all her cousins.  She got to play with both sets two different days and we really enjoyed getting to see all of them as well.
Jaycee didn't know what to think taking a bath with these two boys.
Lofton and Jaycee watching it rain.  Yes, it does rain there unlike here!
 Playing with the nativity scene
Thank you Aunt Roxanne and Uncle Bruce for having us.  We had a lot of fun and it was great to get to see some different country than here.
